Green Route
Seated or standing throughout, with no floor exercises. The gentlest way in — and the one to pick if you are coming back from injury or starting a long way off.
50+ sessions
Free, on demand, no sign-up
These began at the start of the 2020 lockdown to replace a local fitness class I ran. Five formats, more than 900 sessions, still free and still there whenever you want them.
The five formats
Every session is on YouTube, free, and can be done on demand — no sign-up, no email capture, no upsell at the end. Each format has its own playlist.
Seated or standing throughout, with no floor exercises. The gentlest way in — and the one to pick if you are coming back from injury or starting a long way off.
50+ sessions
The long one. Fifty minutes at a pace that will make you work, and the biggest single block of sessions in the library.
280+ sessions
Circuit training — cardio and body-weight strength in stations, so the session keeps changing under you.
270+ sessions
A spin-style cardio workout without the bike. All of the intervals, none of the equipment — you need a bit of floor space and nothing else.
290+ sessions
High-intensity intervals for people who would rather not run, or cannot. The same training effect without the pounding.
50+ sessions
Session counts were correct in August 2026 and only go up. Start with Green Route if you are unsure — it is seated or standing throughout.
Sessions are streamed live and then stay up on the channel afterwards, so nothing is ever missed — you are just choosing between company and convenience.
YouTube does not offer a public page that shows only the scheduled streams, so the link below opens the channel’s Live tab. Anything scheduled appears at the top, above the streams that have already finished.
Free, and staying free
There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to pay. If you get something out of the workouts and want to give something back, the donation link goes to my fundraising page for Cancer Research UK — not to me.
Strength and flexibility
The strength routines are written so that each exercise gets harder as you get stronger, rather than leaving you repeating week one forever.
A forward bend becomes a forward bend holding dumbbells, then plates, then a barbell. An overhead reach becomes an overhead reach with a clap, then with weight. You do not need a gym to start, and you do not outgrow it in a fortnight.
